Merry Christmas to you all and happy 2015 ahead!

Sweet Hibiscus, Macro Field Photography

I’m sure we are all very busy during the festive season and some of us are still at work, while some are busy spending more quality time with our loved ones.  Tonight I was supposed to go to the shelter to join the party organised by Bethune house but I have fever and tonsillitis.  I can’t eat too much sweets and last night I consumed a lot of gummy candies and the result is Christmas fever!  Still, I’m going to cook some healthy and yummy dinner for my wonderful family.

This year was a great year for me, a lot of drama but it summed up to be a great blessing after all. I started to paint again in May and was able to produce five large paintings and 3 medium sized ones. I was also invited to participate in an Exhibition by Pintura Circle the proceeds of which went to the typhoon hit victims of Tacloban. The second exhibition in which I tool part was the Philippine National Day celebration conducted in conjunction with the Marco Polo Hotel Group. In this exhibition I sold two of my paintings.  My photography was my solace and comfort and I am so glad to be able to produce some of the rare images which encouraged me to continue taking pictures. So, I’m happy to be back and I’m looking forward for the year 2015.

I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and may the true spirit and meaning of Christmas be upon us all!
